When Xena returns from the grave 25 years later and no older than when she was put in the ice coffin, Ares is shocked to find her alive. But Xena is equally shocked and emotionally torn to find that Ares had, unknowinly, been teaching her daughter Eve who's name is now Livia, the ways of war and distruction and that they have been in a relationship for some time.
